An enlightened being sees what exists, the problems in it and the answers they have.

Doubt about what we know

 Said the teachers of humanity.
 "Life is like solving a math problem."
 First, identify the problem as it is. Find a formula that is appropriate for solving the problem you have identified. Based on that formula, find the answer using appropriate tips.
 As anyone who is good at mathematics knows, as long as you figure the problem out properly, finding the answer is not so difficult. In other words, understanding a problem as it is is the key to solving the problem.
 Just as we must know a problem correctly in mathematics, we must be able to know what exists in life as it is. The problem is that it is so difficult to see what exists in the world as it is. It is not easy to understand exactly what is happening before our eyes as well as what we hear through any means or someone. In that sense, we should always doubt whether or not what we become to know through hearing and seeing facts is true to the facts. That is because our understanding of the facts is distorted by the colored glasses we wear.

Causality and Destiny

 All living things and substances are made by causality. According to what kind of causality you accept and what kind of causality is active in you, your destiny to be formed is different.

While living

 It is important that we see, understand and know the matters you need to live on.

How to make a good destiny

 If you realize your faults and reject them, and accept good things through working with the one who has good destiny, you can make a good destiny for yourself.

Different Life, different destiny

 Each person has a different destiny because the things that existed in their past lives were different.

Karma and Destiny

 Karma is the source of human destiny.

 Karma is the product of your words and actions. Karma, the result of words and actions, manipulates human life to do the same words and actions.

 If you want to change your destiny, you must remove the karma, its source. The elimination of karma is an eternal task in human life.

To be helpful to people

 Only when you are enlightened, you can be helpful to other people.
 It has been previously said that being enlightened is different from understanding. Understanding is to becoming to know an explanation of a fact and being enlightened is that you can see the fact itself.
 It is very difficult to give people a definite help with only a similar understanding of what is happening to them. If you can see the problems people have, you can show them a sure way to help.

Right Way and Wrong Way

 Right Way (正道) reveals facts and Wrong Way (邪道) hides facts.
 It's easy for those who have followed Right Way to fall into Wrong Way but it isn't easy for those who have followed Wrong Way to accept Right Way. For example, it is possible for healthy people to become crippled in an accident but it is really difficult for those who become disabled once to be healthy again.

Forgotten Ploblems

 A society which has a certain problem do not take the problem seriously.

 Today's societies have so many problems. One of the major problems is the absence of leaders. The process of electing a leader is spectacle. It is the reality is that instead of picking the better one out of the good ones, the less wrong one is picked out of the wrong ones. It's really a big problem that people don't take these problems seriously.

In order to learn what is right

You have to throw away all the wrong things in yourself so you can learn what is right.

Darkness and Light

 Darkness is afraid to meet light and vice versa. It is because darkness will be broken to die if it meets light and light will die of being wrapped by darkness if it meets darkness.

Truth

 What is truth? It means a fact as it is.
 What kind of person is a true person? He or she is the person who can see a fact as it is and say it as it is.
 Being determined to live a true life does not mean that people can. This is similar to deciding that they should be 10 centimeters taller.
 Why can't people avoid lying? It is because people cannot see facts as they are. In other words, it is because people are not true.
 What is the way to make yourself better? It is to become more true. What is the way to become a better society? It is for more people to become more true. But in the present world, there is neither concern for truth nor proper teaching of truth.

The blind with eyesight

 Although people see what exists, because they do not know why it happened, Shakyamuni Buddha said that people are like the blind with eyesight.

Ability to distinguish

 The ability to properly recognize what exists in the world is great and necessary. This ability is different from distinguishing between what an individual likes and dislikes based on their relative values.
 In the world, there are things that are essential to humans, things that are harmful to humans, and others. If people can recognize these things separately, they can make themselves and their society better.

Things that do not help

 It is far better not to see, hear, read, or learn things that do not help.

Faith and Confirmation

 In today’s reality, the word "faith" is familiar, but the word "confirmation" is unfamiliar. When people are told about the confirmation of facts, they laugh at the lack of faith. However, faith without confirmation leads to unfortunate consequences. Confirmation is essential for belief.
 The process of confirmation is difficult and requires effort. Confirmation should be based on objective judgment that no one can deny.

The truth

 If there is anyone who doesn't understand the truth, it's a matter of their consciousness.

Repetition and The law of cause and effect

 The world and things in the world exist by repetition and the law of cause and effect.
 Take rice farming as an example. Rice seeds sprout and grow, rooting in rice fields, and growing fruit. The fruit is again used as rice seed and repeats the same process. During this iteration, rice undergoes changes based on the quality of rice seed itself and the condition of land and environment.
 In principle, humans are the same as rice seed. Like rice seed, a soul undergoes changes based on the law of cause and effect during the course of repetition.

Know and then practice!

 It is very dangerous to do things without knowing whether they are right or wrong. In other words, if you do so it’s easy to be deceived by swindlers.

No Lies!

 If other people believe in your lie, it constitutes deception. In other words, it means that they will suffer losses. Once you tell a lie, it becomes a habit and finally karma. Therefore you’d better not tell a lie.

Feel Like You Know

 When you hear of what exists, you feel like you know it. However, when you are asked about what exists, you can’t answer easily.

Efforts as much as needed

 Those who want to survive have to make efforts as much. It is like, if they learn the art of farming, they should work hard. Otherwise, the skills will be useless.
